Campsite Cumbria/Eden Valley/edge of Lake District
Greengill Campsite is situated in a quiet location on the edge of the pretty village of Morland in Cumbria. It is an easy walk to the seven day Mill Yard Café and Crown Inn in the village centre.
Morland is seven miles south east of Penrith in the lovely Eden Valley. It is central for the Lake District, the Pennines, the Yorkshire Dales, and Hadrian’s Wall and the Solway Coast. The nearest lake, Ullswater, is 20 minutes away. The Eden Valley is gentle rolling countryside with quiet roads and lanes, and pretty villages, ideal for walking and cycling. Morland is only 15 minutes from the M6 both North and South, and from the A66 from Yorkshire and the East.
The site can take caravans up to 24 feet, and vehicles up to 8 feet wide.
The Bower House, a four star two person holiday cottage, is next to the campsite and can be used in conjunction with it by those without camper vans or caravans. It is on one level and suitable for people with limited mobility. See the Contact page for other Morland attractions.
We look forward to welcoming you, and are sure you will enjoy your stay.
